In early 2022, it increased to €6,700 (currency correction), and in September 2022, the price went up even further to €7,100. Now, lo and behold, as of February 1st, the price will go up to €7,500. Omega will increase prices by approx. 5–7% (also depending on the market). They raised prices on 1 December 2021. I don’t understand why they’d increase them again. Back in the late-70's and early-80's prices were raised two or three times a year by substantial amounts due to raging inflation. By the end of September 2022, the price surged even higher to more than £6,300. And February 2023 shows no signs of abating with the price set to go up further to around £6,500. They're clearly moving omega up in price and focusing on Boutiques to make the brand more exclusive. They are also bringing Longines up in price (and in quality, love the recent releases!) to compete with Tudor.Rolex has been increasing the pricing of tudor to more closely match omega's previous prices and even doing things like also getting the metas certification. So Omega has had to increase their prices to stay out of direct comparison and swatch also .
