Also, an exterior rivet was loose and I thought I was able to secure it and now that is missing as well.

The screw fell out and it's what holds the bag handle to the bag. I can take it to the Louis Vuitton store but i do not want to pay 0+ for this tiny screw. That's insane! Take it back to the store and try speaking to a different person, preferably one that doesn't have their head up their butt, and enquire about the repair again. It was time for a change! Took almost 4 months to get it back from LV. All new vachetta, strap and drawstring. They added a D-ring inside. All the canvas and rivets are original but lost the date code . ...
